December 08

The month of December was very busy & exciting. Some of the pictures of from the following activities: 2nd baptism here in the UK in a rented building, decorating our Christmas tree, trip to Hounslow Urban Farm with the kids, Sydney's 1st haircut in the UK, deer at Bushy Park where I take the kids often, our Christmas banquet at church, a Christmas Eve trip to London on the Tube to see London Aquarium and ride the London Eye, Christmas Day drive to London to see St. Paul's Cathedral and Trafalgar Square, and a Singles Fellowship at our house.

November 08

The month of November was a busy & exciting time for us! We had our first baptism since arriving here in west London. What a joy that was! We also had our first children's activity on a Saturday afternoon. Balloon Blast! We had 26 people in attendance for that! We played balloon games for over an hour with our children ages 2-12 and then had a Bible lesson & some snacks. Some of the other pictures are from different parks in our area. I think that our favorite has become Bushy Park. It's London's 2nd largest park! It's only about 4 miles from our house. I also had my first Ladies Fellowship during this month. My neighbor Hilary came as my special guest! There were 17 ladies there in all. We had a very nice time together. We ended the month with a trip to Northern Ireland to see our friends Travis & Teri Snode and their family and for John to preach 2 mission conferences while we were there as well. We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Snodes & Bakers in Northern Ireland too! We even had some snow in November! God is really blessing us here & doing some amazing things in west London!

October 08

This was a fun & busy month for us! My brother Ben who is a missionary in Vancouver came for a visit for the first weekend in October. He was visiting several missionaries that his church in Canada supports. Ben took the picture of Big Ben & I had to post it because it's probably one of the clearest skies that I've ever seen in a picture of Big Ben! Some of the other pictures are from our walks to the parks nearby our house. We also took a day trip to Legoland out in Windsor for John's birthday this month. I guess it was really more for Titus & Sydney but we had a great time too! There were some really neat things there & some fun rides too just the right size for our kids! The kids have made some new friends at our church as well! Joshua (spiderman) & Rianna are brother & sister and are almost the exact ages as Titus & Sydney! What a blessing from the Lord!
Our church here is doing well! One of the pictures is of me with my children's church from one Sunday this past month. I am really enjoying teaching them every week & having a part in their lives. This past Saturday we had our first children's activity and had 20 children there ages 2-12!! It was a blast!

Sept 08

Thank the Lord that we made it to London at 7:00 AM on September 10th. We just got our internet going today!!! It only took a month! Wow! It's been a great journey here & we thank the Lord for all that He has already done here since we arrived.

August 08

Pictures from this month include our Commissioning Service at Bible Baptist Church in Newnan, GA. My parents came for the special service along with our mission board director Dr. Wade & his wife. Other pictures include fun times with Shelby & Austin, a night of shopping with Me Me, and a visit from my friend since age 3 Autumn Pearson!!!
