November 08

The month of November was a busy & exciting time for us! We had our first baptism since arriving here in west London. What a joy that was! We also had our first children's activity on a Saturday afternoon. Balloon Blast! We had 26 people in attendance for that! We played balloon games for over an hour with our children ages 2-12 and then had a Bible lesson & some snacks. Some of the other pictures are from different parks in our area. I think that our favorite has become Bushy Park. It's London's 2nd largest park! It's only about 4 miles from our house. I also had my first Ladies Fellowship during this month. My neighbor Hilary came as my special guest! There were 17 ladies there in all. We had a very nice time together. We ended the month with a trip to Northern Ireland to see our friends Travis & Teri Snode and their family and for John to preach 2 mission conferences while we were there as well. We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Snodes & Bakers in Northern Ireland too! We even had some snow in November! God is really blessing us here & doing some amazing things in west London!

Oh how I rejoice! My heart is full! Interesting how the baptistmal pool is in the floor, very clever!

Loved John in the mask!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.

I'd love to read a post from you concerning how Christmas is celebrated there in London and how much emphasis is on the real meaning of Christmas. We really seem to be losing our roots here in the U.S. of A. I know Europe is basically socialistic, so some of your observances would be interesting. If and when you have time of course! Y'all sound very busy but very happy! God is good!
